There are only four and a half months to go until the start of the FIFA World Cup&trade, the very in history to take place. The 11 host cities are in the last phases of their preparation for the tournament and soon will be ready to welcome thousands of fans from all around the world. Among the cities, Sochi, would be hosting guests in connection with the World Cup slightly sooner - In a month's time from now. On 27-28 Feb, the Team Workshop for nations at the 2018 FIFA World Cup is being organized in the tournament's southernmost destination.

Representatives from the 32 nations who qualified for the group phases will participate in the workshop, including the coaches, the teams physicians and experts in technical fields, media cooperation, accommodation, security, logistics, transportation and marketing. They'll attend a wide range of educational sessions covering aspects of the approaching competition. Sochi is pleased to be the initial Host City of the World Cup to welcome international guests in 2018, commented Russia 2018 Host City Ambassador Sergei Metreveli. Sergei's father, Slava, was probably the most well-known footballers to come from Sochi, having appeared in World Cup of FIFA in 1962, 1966 and 1970, as well as the European Championship win in 1960. Last year throughout the Confederations Cup, we showed how we're able to hosting top football teams and their lovers. Now the whole city can't wait around for a real festival of football and also to meet lovers from various countries. Through the World Cup, four groups phase matches will take place in the Fisht Stadium in Sochi, and a Round-of-16 tie and a quarter.
